Retreat Integration Destination
A tear in reality, passage to something beyond
Tucked away in the magic of Joshua Tree, this is more than just a retreat—it’s a portal to something beyond. A break in reality. A place to slow down, soak in the silence, and embrace the unexpected.
Each unit at Rift Zero is a tiny home with its own private space, designed for peace, solitude, and just the right amount of adventure. While you’re welcome to explore the whole property, we encourage a bubble of privacy around each retreat. Think of it as your own personal hideaway in the desert.
the perfect balance of privacy and community
the common area is a perfect spot to gather but guests mostly keep to themselves. fire up the BBQ, relax in the lounge space, sweat it out in the sauna, or cool off in the outdoor shower under the open sky. we also have laundry facilities available.
Visit The Oracle at sunrise for coffee, tea, and a moment of reflection with tarot. This vintage trailer, a timeless icon, invites you to start your day with warmth, curiosity, and maybe even a little insight from the universe.
If you’re looking for a deeper connection, take a yoga mat down to the meditation space, a quiet private space of the property designed for stillness and introspection. Whether it’s a morning flow or simple breathwork, it’s the perfect place to tune into the desert’s rhythm and let the energy of the landscape guide you.
At night, get ready for some of the best stargazing you’ve ever seen! We follow Dark Sky Association guidelines, meaning no harsh lights—just endless constellations stretching across the sky, and dead silence, except for the occasional coyote call.
We’re all about living in harmony with nature, so we use permaculture methods like greywater systems, rainwater harvesting, greenhouse gardening, and repurposed materials.
Kick back, explore, and let the desert work its magic. We hope you leave feeling inspired.
Please Be Aware:
Cigarettes and chewing tobacco are NOT allowed anywhere on the property.
However, cannabis, ceremonial tobacco, hapé, or sacred tobacco are OK and welcome in outdoor spaces. Feel free to ask questions.

I felt right at home in the desert. Kramer was pretty much the perfect host, quick to answer any questions I had and very kind and welcoming. I almost never use the word “vibes” but the vibes were great!

My daughter and wife and I stayed there, on and off, during our month and enjoyed it. Enough space for us all and nice and quiet. For zoom meetings we used their smaller Tarot trailer, in the communal area, and it worked perfectly, as did the wifi in the Shasta trailer. Beautiful, cool, starry nights at the trailer and warm days hiking in the park.

Quiet, comfortable, and remote enough while still being close enough to Joshua Tree to grab a coffee in less than 10 minutes. Everyone on the property was communicative and kind. Check in and check out we’re seamless. A great experience.
